New Chapter Formed In Arizona
Welcome to our newest chapter of the NNDPA! A group spearheaded by J. J. Lamb, formerly with Colossal Cave Monument, have gotten underway in Arizona and their first activity is to have the map of New Deal sites in Arizona reprinted thanks to a grant from AZ Humanities Council. They had an earlier printing last year and it was so popular they had to get more done so they could have some for the state’s upcoming Centennial celebration in 2012 and the activities leading up that celebration. The first of these new 25,000 maps will be included in the current CCC statewide traveling exhibit that is being sponsored by the Arizona Historical Society. New Deal Lecture In Tuscon
On Feb. 23 NNDPA Board Member Price Fishack will give a talk on “The National Recovery Administration and the Shechter Poultry Case” to the Osher Life-long Learning Institute associated with the University of Arizona.
