Artists who studied at the Broadmoor Art Academy, later the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center were a close and lively group.

Many painted murals funded the the New Deal programs. One of them was Archie Musick who painted the downstairs lounge murals in the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. Archie saved a number of the letters, which the artists wrote to each other during their travels, giving eyewitness views on the arts and events of the time. Pat Musick, daughter of Archie, has created a READING, performance, with different readers portraying the writers of these letters, and some of the people they wrote about.

All events are free of charge, no reservations required.

Location: The Music Room at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, 30 W. Dale Street.
