New CCC Worker Statue Dedicated

A CCC Worker statue was dedicated on May 21, 2010, at the Versailles State Park. The statue is near the entrance of the new park building. Funding came from a $15,000 grant from the Rising Sun Regional Foundation and $5,000 from the Ripley County Community Foundation. This was a dream of Ruth Ann Swinney, who passed away before the statue was installed, but her daughter, Lisa Ebinger, carried the project to completion.
