Musical Benefit In New York City

FDR Presidential Library and Museum are hosting a benefit for their educational programs and the Catherine Street Community Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. The musical program will be put on by the Marist College Music Department Choir and the Poughkeepsie Boys Choir featuring music from Marian Anderson at the Lincoln Memorial Concert program. March 7 at 2 p.m. $30 ticket through the FDR Library.

 

Panel Discussions On Second New Deal At FDR Library

The FDR Library in Hyde Park will host a series of panel discussions on 1935 and the Second New Deal this fall:

October 24: NNDPA board members Nick Taylor and Gray Brechin will join the panel that will focus on the WPA and the Rural Electrification Administration.

 

November 21: NNDPA board member Nick Taylor will be on this panel. The topic will be the WPA arts and history projects.

 

Lecture At NYU

NNDPA board member Price Fishback will give a talk titled “How Effective Was the Home Owners’ Loan Corporation?" at New York University's Stern School of Business on February 28.
