Preston County History Day
Preston County History Day will be held July 17, 2011. The event will be kicked off with a tour of the Arthurdale Museum, which consists of five buildings built as part of the first subsistence homestead community of the New Deal. Eleanor Roosevelt adopted this community and gave it a great deal of support. The museum is open regularly on Saturdays and Sundays.
